Our Origin Story
The Crit Seekers Podcast initially began two years ago as a weekly session between Mason (DM), Ben (Dawitt), Randall (Taelin), and Russel (Seven). As they continued to play and explore the vast opportunities that D&D has to offer, Dani (Nyx) and Katrina (Nimueh) eventually joined until we formed what is now known as the CritSeekers Podcast.
In October 2018, we ended our first campaign and delved into preparing for Campaign 2. We spent the next few months crafting and finalizing our characters and their backstories while Mason weaved the world of Kania together. We began Campaign 2 in January 2019. Just a few months later, we entertained the thought of transforming our weekly sessions into a podcast that we could share with others. One thing led to another and by April 2019 we found ourselves surrounded by podcast equipment recording our first episode.
We're excited to have you join us as we explore the wild world of Kania and whatever that entails. For more information of what has transpired prior to our first recording, you can find transcriptions of our first 12 sessions here as they become available. Alternatively, you can listen to a condensed version of these events here. Be sure to check our Podcast page for new episodes and updates.
